Operating with sustainability as a core value, they are looking for a Communications specialist to join the team.

Description

The External Communications Manager role will involve:

• Develop and implement effective communication strategies that enhance the company's visibility and reputation in the market
• Manage relationships with media outlets to ensure accurate and positive representation of the company
• Craft compelling content for various platforms, including press releases, newsletters, and social media
• Coordinate public relations activities and events
• Liaise with the internal team to align communications with business objectives
• Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of communications strategies
• Handle crisis management and mitigate potential communication issues

Profile

A successful External Communications Manager should have:

• A degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the industrial/manufacturing industry - although not essential.
• Excellent written communication skills, and experience crafting content including articles, press releases, and social media posts.
• A creative mind paired with the ability to make strategic data-driven decisions
• Experience managing external events is beneficial.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency in using social media platforms for business
