External Sales Representative

• Annual Salary: Circa £30,000 plus car allowance and fantastic OTE Bonus
• Location: Oldbury, West Midlands

We are seeking a proactive External Sales Representative on behalf of our client, a leading provider in the tech solutions sector. This role involves covering the breadth of the West Midlands, with 3 days spent on visits and 2 days in the office. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical support and the ability to work independently to drive sales.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Travel across the West Midlands to meet with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and presenting suitable solutions.
• Spend 3 days a week on field visits, actively seeking new business opportunities and engaging with clients face-to-face.
• Spend 2 days a week in the Oldbury office, planning routes, scheduling appointments, and following up on leads and customer queries.
• Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands customer base.
• Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on products/services, tailoring them to the audience's technical understanding and needs.
• Upsell additional products and services to existing customers, enhancing their satisfaction and use of our solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sales Representative, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Knowledge of technical products and the ability to provide support and information on such products.
• Strong ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with customers and understand their needs.
• Must be proactive, with a keen eye for opportunities to grow business.
