EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Job Title: EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant Barnsley, South Yorkshire. Full-time, Term-time only could be ongoing need for academic year - role to start in September 2025 ongoing - Nursery Nurses also welcome to apply.

We are now seeking an enthusiastic and experienced EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at this local Primary to support in Nursery as a whole class TA and support individual students with additoinal needs.

As a Teaching Assistant within the EYFS unit, you will work alongside experienced staff to support the learning, development, and well-being of children aged 3-5. You will help to deliver creative and engaging learning opportunities, contribute to the continuous assessment of pupil progress, and foster a safe and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the planning and delivery of the EYFS curriculum.

• Work with individuals and small groups of children to promote learning.

• Help maintain accurate observations and assessments in line with EYFS requirements.

• Support children with a range of needs, including those with SEND.

• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

• Promote good behaviour and ensure high standards of care and safety.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Holds a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare cache level 3 is an essential requirement.

• Has experience working in a nursery or school-based EYFS setting.

• Has a strong understanding of the EYFS Statutory Framework.

• Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Is passionate about making a difference in the early stages of a child's education.
