EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Permanent, Full-Time

Location: Waltham Forest, East London
Salary: £1,800 - £2,300 per month
Start Date: Immediate / September
Contract: Permanent | Full-time

A welcoming and supportive primary school in Waltham forest is looking to appoint a qualified EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional who holds a Level 3 qualification and is passionate about supporting children's early development.

Key Responsibilities

Support teaching and learning within the EYFS classroom
Assist with planning and delivering engaging play-based activities
Support children's personal, social, and emotional development
Work with children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Complete observations and contribute to children's learning journeys
Support classroom organisation and preparation of learning resources
Encourage positive behaviour and independence

Requirements

Essential:

Level 3 Early Years qualification (CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)
GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
Experience working within an Early Years or school setting
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and developmentDesirable:

Previous experience working within EYFS
Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Knowledge of observations, assessments, and learning journeys
Paediatric First Aid qualification
Experience working as an Early Years Practitioner or Nursery Nurse
