Salary: £39,196–£52,241 per annum, in line with M1–M6

Apex Educ8 are looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS / Reception Teacher to join a primary school in the NW2 area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who understands the importance of creating a positive start to school life and can provide a supportive, engaging environment where young children feel confident to learn, explore and develop.

You’ll play an important role in supporting children's early development while creating a classroom environment where every child is encouraged to participate and make progress.

Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver engaging lessons and activities in line with the EYFS framework

* Support children's academic, social and emotional development

* Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment

* Assess and monitor children's progress

* Adapt teaching to meet individual needs and abilities

* Encourage children's communication, independence, and confidence

* Develop positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

* Promote positive behaviour and engagement

* Work effectively with teaching assistants and the wider school team

Requirements

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Experience teaching EYFS or Reception

* Strong understanding of the EYFS framework

* A nurturing, patient and enthusiastic approach

* Good classroom and behaviour management skills

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* A genuine commitment to supporting children's development
