EYFS SEND Learning Support Assistant Location: Winchester Start Date: 1st September 2026 Temporary Autumn Term Role | Monday to Friday
8:30am – 3:30pm

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support a non-verbal autistic child for a term before the child goes to specialist school.
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children, ideally in an EYFS and SEND school setting A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude Strong communication and interpersonal skills A genuine passion for supporting young learners Relevant qualifications or training in education or SEND support (desirable) What You'll Do:
Support a child 1:1 Foster a safe, positive and inclusive environment Help the child develop confidence, independence, and social skills Collaborate closely with the school’s SENDCO Be confident working with a child who requires patience and compassion Teaching Personnel Benefits:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
