Fabric Admin Assistant - Urgent Hiring

We have a fantastic new role for a client of ours who are reputable, well established and work with majority of high street retailers.

They are looking for an Fabric Admin Assistant to help support the growth of their business. The ideal candidate does not need to have fabric experience, but your role is imperative to the success of the fabric/yarn team so you must be organised, hardworking, good at chasing for replies and keeping to deadlines.This will be great for someone who has maybe done a placement in the industry and wants to learn more about fabric testing/sustainability.

Main Responsibilities Will Include:

• Helping to manage the bulk fabric testing Critical Path alongside the Fabric Technologist
• Uploading test reports and fabric specs on customer portals
• Chasing for sustainability certificates to ensure these are received before orders ship
• Communicating daily with our Far East Suppliers
• Helping to complete customer KPIs
• Helping to ensure that fabrics are fit for purpose by arranging in-house washing tests.

Person Specifications:

• A keen eye for detail and be able to spot mistakes on test reports etc.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
• Excellent computer skills
• Enthusiastic and hardworking
• Must be organised
