Fabric cutter operator

Please only apply if you have previous, hands-on experience working as a Fabric Cutter, Fabric Cutting Machine Operator, or in a very similar fabric-cutting role.

This is not an entry-level position, and candidates without relevant fabric-cutting experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

* Operating fabric cutting machinery safely and efficiently

* Accurately cutting different types of fabric according to patterns, measurements and production requirements

* Preparing and laying fabric ready for cutting

* Following cutting specifications and ensuring accuracy

* Checking materials for defects before cutting

* Ensuring cut pieces are correctly organised and prepared for the next stage of production

* Maintaining a clean and organised working area

* Following all company health and safety procedures

* Meeting production targets while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and quality

Requirements

* Previous experience as a Fabric Cutter or Fabric Cutting Machine Operator is essential

* Experience operating fabric-cutting machinery

* Good understanding of fabric cutting, patterns and measurements

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy

* Ability to work efficiently in a production environment

* Good reliability and timekeeping

* Ability to follow instructions and production specifications

* Commitment to health and safety procedures
