Location: Central London (Multiple Sites – Short Travel Between)
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

The Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Fabric Engineer to join a well-established maintenance team supporting a small portfolio of prestigious commercial buildings in Central London. Working semi-static means you’ll be primarily based at one main site while providing support to nearby locations when required — offering both stability and variety in your day-to-day work.

As a Fabric Engineer, you’ll be responsible for carrying out general building maintenance, repairs, and minor works to ensure the smooth running and presentation of all client facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Perform planned and reactive maintenance across a range of building fabric and general maintenance tasks.

Carry out repairs to doors, locks, tiling, painting, plastering, joinery, and basic plumbing.

Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Support other on-site engineers and contractors as needed.

*

Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and report issues promptly.

About You

*

Experienced Fabric Engineer with a background in commercial maintenance.

*

Multi-skilled with good general knowledge of building systems and trades.

*

Strong attention to detail with a proactive and flexible approach to work.

*

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

*

Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential).
