Premier Recruitment Hub is currently recruiting for an experienced Fabric Engineer to join our client’s team, carrying out general building maintenance and repairs across commercial properties throughout Kent.

Our client is a successful commercial property development and maintenance company offering ongoing work for a reliable, multi-skilled engineer.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out a variety of planned and reactive maintenance works, both internally and externally across commercial properties.

Typical duties will include:

* General building fabric repairs and maintenance.

* Minor carpentry and joinery repairs.

* Door, lock, hinge and window repairs.

* Painting and decorating.

* Minor plastering, tiling and flooring repairs.

* Ceiling tile replacements.

* General plumbing repairs and maintenance.

* External building repairs and upkeep.

* Minor roofing, guttering and associated maintenance where competent.

* General internal and external property maintenance.

* Responding to reactive maintenance requests and completing planned works.

Requirements

* Previous experience as a Fabric Engineer, Building Maintenance Engineer or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative.

* Strong practical maintenance and repair skills.

* Experience working within commercial properties would be advantageous.

* Ability to work independently and manage your workload.

* Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.

* Relevant trade qualifications or proven hands-on experience.
