Fabrication and Assembly technician

Permanent

£15 per hour to £20 per hour (depending on experience)

7.5 hour days

Based in Windsor, free on-site parking

Be part of a small, close knit and friendly Technician team where you will be responsible for the smooth manufacture of products.

Duties include:-

• Handling products which vary in weight (must be fit for Physical work)
• Using appropriate equipment for movement of heavy items (fork-lift training will be given if required)
• Cutting perforated stainless steel sheets and mesh
• Spot welding parts together
• Drilling
• Assembling items
• Repacking
• Checking for quality control before despatch

Skills/experience required

• Previous experience within a similar role, technician, assembler, mechanical production, manufacturing or basic engineering
• Hands on, enjoys working with component parts and building/fixing products
• A keen eye for detail and takes pride in work
• Physically fit as this requires some physical work
• Calm under pressure, easy going, friendly and a team player
