Location: Based at our workshop with travel to sites across the UK
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 7:30am–4:30pm | Friday, 7:30am–2:00pm

Our client are a well-established bespoke fabrication company specialising in the design, manufacture, and installation of high-quality metalwork for commercial and residential projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Fabrication Installer / Site Fitter to join their installation team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and enjoys working on varied, bespoke projects. The role involves UK-wide travel, with accommodation and expenses provided when working away.

The Role

As a Fabrication Installer / Site Fitter, you will be responsible for installing bespoke fabricated products safely, accurately, and to a high standard. You will work on a variety of projects, installing architectural metalwork and fabricated structures at customer sites.

Responsibilities

Installing bespoke fabricated metalwork on customer sites.
Fitting architectural metalwork, steelwork, staircases, balustrades, handrails, and other fabricated products.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and installation plans.
Measuring, aligning, assembling, and securing fabricated components.
Using hand and power tools to complete installation work.
Carrying out drilling, cutting, grinding, and minor adjustments on site where required.
Working safely at height and following all site safety procedures.
Liaising with site managers, contractors, and customers.
Ensuring all installations meet company quality standards.
Completing projects professionally and efficiently.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

Previous experience as a Site Fitter, Fabrication Installer, or similar installation role.
Valid CSCS Card.
Valid IPAF qualification.
Valid PASMA qualification.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Ability to read and understand fabrication or engineering drawings.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required.

What We Offer

Competitive salary based on experience.
Monday–Thursday working hours: 7:30am–4:30pm
Friday working hours: 7:30am–2:00pm
Overtime available at time and a half
Company van provided.
All tools and equipment provided.
Quality hotel accommodation arranged and paid for when working away.
£25 per night food allowance when staying away.
