Fabrication Technicians

I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established and thriving manufacturer of specialist products who supply to a wide variety of industries globally.

They are currently seeking a number of Fabrication Technicians to join their team, working Mon-Fri 6-2 and 2-10 shifts, for which a generous shift allowance is paid.

You will be responsible for the manufacture of precision infrared and visible optical components to exacting customer specifications.

You will program, set and operate CNC machinery to cut, mill, shape, polish and bevel optical components, working to micron level tolerances and maintaining the highest standards of quality, cleanliness and workmanship.

Requirements

* Proven experience programming, setting and operating 3-axis CNC milling machines.

* Experience manufacturing precision components to tight dimensional tolerances.

* Experience working to micron-level tolerances.

* Ability to read and accurately interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

* Experience using precision measurement equipment.

An attractive salary is on offer for this role, dependant on experience and with the potential for substantial increases once fully trained.
