Pertemps are currently recruiting for a skilled Metal Fabricator to join a dynamic engineering company based in Basingstoke. Our client is looking for a candidate with a keen attention to detail to join their team and grow within their fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes, plasma cutters and sheet rollers.
- interpret and work from technical drawings and CAD files
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks on a variety of metals
- Repair and fabricate metal parts using various welding techniques including MIG, TIG and Laser welding
- Use hand and power tools to clean, assemble and finish products
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace

Requirments for this role:
- Previous experience within sheet metal fabrication
- Confident MIG and TIG welder
- Strong understanding of sheet metal properties, fabrication techniques and machine operating
- Proven ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Physical strength to handle heavy materials and equipment's
- Be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team

The Fabricator role:
- Salary of £38,000 per annum depending on experience
- 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm
