Fabricator – MIG/TIG Welder

£29,640 – £31,616 per year
£15.00 – £16.00 per hour, depending on experience
38 hours per week - Monday to Thursday, 7:00am to 4:45pm, 30-minute unpaid lunch break

This is a Permanent role and you will employed directly by the client. Concept Recruitment are the introductory service only.

We’re looking for an experienced Fabricator with MIG & TIG welding experience to join a busy engineering/manufacturing environment.

What you’ll be doing

* MIG & TIG welding on steel, stainless steel and aluminium

* Fabricating and assembling metal components

* Working from engineering drawings

* Cutting, grinding and preparing materials

* Checking finished welds for quality

* Carrying out repairs and rework when required

* Keeping tools and equipment maintained

* Working safely and to production deadlines

What we’re looking for

* Previous MIG & TIG welding experience

* Fabrication experience

* Ability to read engineering drawings

* Good knowledge of workshop tools and equipment

* Strong attention to detail

* Able to work independently and as part of a team

A welding/fabrication apprenticeship would be an advantage, but experience is more important.
