Fabricator

Pertemps Lincoln are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator to join a thriving business based on the outskirts of Lincoln.

You’ll be joining a skilled and established production team, fabricating and assembling high-quality metal components and structures from engineering drawings.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with permanent contracts available following the successful completion of 12 weeks through Pertemps.

What will I be paid?

£16.00+ per hour
Higher rates available depending on experience and skill level 
What hours will I be working?

Monday to Friday
40 hours per week
Flexible start times between 06:00 and 07:00
Additional hours available if desired 
What will I be doing?

Fabricating and assembling metal components and structures
Cutting, shaping and preparing materials
Reading and working from engineering drawings and specifications
Using fabrication tools and equipment safely and accurately
Carrying out quality checks on completed work
Ensuring finished components meet the required specifications
Maintaining a clean and organised working area
Working alongside other members of the production and engineering team
Reporting defects, faults or production issues promptly 
What skills and experience do I need?

Previous experience within metal fabrication
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Good practical and mechanical skills
Strong attention to detail and focus on quality
Confident using fabrication tools and equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable and proactive approach to work
Own transport would be advantageous due to the location
Ideal for Candidates Based In
Lincoln, North Hykeham, Newark, Sleaford, Saxilby, Gainsborough and surrounding areas.
