Job Description - Fabricator nights pipework

Owen Daniels are recruiting for a fantastic family run Manufacturing business for a Fabricator on a three-month temporary basis with a strong likelihood for the role to become a permanent role after the three months. This role is to work Night shifts.

In this role, you are expected to undertake a range of manufacturing activities. These may include profiling, Plate / Section Roling, Fabrication, Manual and/or Sub Arc welding dependant upon the employees skill level.

Fabricator
Three Month Temporary
Rate - £16.95 per hour + Shift Allowance
Monday – Thursday 7:30PM – 6AM (40 Hours) (Nights)

Fabricator
Job Description

Provide skilled support and assistance to shop floor supervision as needed.
Review and follow manufacturing details, delivery requirements, and works order packages, ensuring proper in-process inspections and documentation.
Ensure all fabrication work is accurately identified, double-checked by another fabricator, and recorded correctly.
Report tooling or spare part needs and machine breakdowns to production supervision immediately.
Promote a safe, clean, and hazard-free working environment by ensuring machine safety, following safe working instructions, and maintaining good housekeeping.

Fabricator
Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
Previous experience as a Fabricator
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
