Job Title: Welder / Fabricator
Location: Derby
Shifts: Days (occasional Saturdays depending on project urgency)
Weekly Hours: 39 standard
Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Friday: 8:00am - 3:30pm

Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour (£32,300 DOE)
Overtime: £24.00 per hour (plenty available)
Contract Type: Permanent
Start Date: Immediate

Client Overview:
A leading manufacturer of trade signs, producing a wide variety of sizes for many prestigious, high-end brand names.

Job Overview:
The role involves the fabrication and welding of high-quality trade signs, primarily for well-known retail brands. Duties will include cutting and forming sheet metal and TIG welding to achieve a premium finish.

Candidate Profile:
Proven experience with TIG welding

Strong fabrication background

Experience working with aluminium

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Flexibility to work overtime when required

Qualifications:
Ideally completed an apprenticeship in welding, sheet metal work, fabrication, or a similar discipline
