Fabricator Welder

CareerMakers Recruitment is currently looking for Picker/ Packers for one of our clients based in Leeds, Ilkely, LS29.

Responsibilities:

* Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

* Measure, cut, bend, and prepare metal materials.

* Perform MIG, TIG, ARC, or stick welding as required.

* Assemble and fabricate metal structures and components.

* Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, drills, saws, and cutting machines.

* Inspect completed welds and fabricated products for quality and accuracy.

* Repair or modify damaged metal components when necessary.

* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

* Follow workplace health and safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.

* Keep the work area clean and organized

Skills:

* Proficiency in MIG, TIG, or ARC welding.

* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

* Good measuring and mathematical skills.

* Knowledge of fabrication techniques and metalworking tools.

* Strong attention to detail.

* Problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Monday - Friday
Shifts available: 7am - 4.30pm (12.45pm finish on Fridays)

Pay rate : £15.00 / H
