The role

* You will operate welding machines to fuse metal segments together using MIG or other processes

* Measuring, cutting, clamping, grinding, drilling, or tacking metal pieces before welding

* You will be required to fabricate parts following mechanical drawings.

* You will prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools and materials.

About You

* Fabrication/welding- MIG, MMA/Stick Welding, Stud Welding and Plasma Cutting- essential

* Preferable have experience using the Armarda Press Brake

* Hands-on experience of working within a mechanical/electrical engineering environment - desirable

* The ability to understand mechanical drawings - essential

* Overhead crane/lifting slinging experience - desirable

* FLT Counterbalance - desirable

* Experience of working within a continuous improvement environment - desirable

* Full driving licence - essential
