Certain Advantage are hiring for a Fabricator/Welder based in Skelmersdale on an initial contract basis.

We are working with a well-established manufacturer specialising in bespoke equipment and fabricated assemblies supplied into a range of demanding industries including:

Subsea
NuclearYour Responsibilities

Fabricating and welding bespoke equipment and assemblies to engineering specifications
Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings
Carrying out high-quality MIG welding operations
Ensuring all fabrication and welding work meets required quality standards
Working independently and as part of a production team
Maintaining a safe and organised working environment 
The individual:  

Have previous experience within heavy engineering or bespoke manufacturing environments
Be competent in reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
Demonstrate a high standard of fabrication and MIG welding
Have experience welding to coded standards (preferred)
TIG welding experience would be advantageous
Be reliable, motivated, and capable of producing work to a high standard
