Fabricator/Welder – Peterhead

Location: Peterhead
Salary: £32,000 – £38,000
Hours: 38 hours per week
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x

Driver Hire is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Fabricator / Welder to join their Peterhead workshop.

The Role

* Fabrication, welding and structural assembly

* Primarily MIG and FCAW

* Cutting, grinding, drilling, fitting and plate preparation

* Working from fabrication drawings

* Equipment repair, modification and refurbishment

About You

* Time-served Fabricator / Welder or equivalent

* Experience in fabrication, welding and structural assembly

* Able to read fabrication drawings

* Carbon steel experience

* Good attention to detail and strong safety awareness

Welding codings: Previous coding experience is sufficient, with candidates put through new codings after successful completion of probation.

Forklift, MEWP or lifting qualifications advantageous.
