Are you a Facade Designer with a passion for architectural detailing and construction technology? Do you want to work on high-profile projects in commercial, educational and residential sectors, and take ownership of complex facade systems from concept through to fabrication?

On offer is the chance to join a specialist façade design consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering bespoke rainscreen cladding and glazing solutions across the UK. With over a decade of experience, this company supports developers, contractors and manufacturers with the full lifecycle of facade detailing - including aluminium, stainless steel, curtain walling, and more.

As a Facade Designer, you will be responsible for producing highly detailed facade drawings in AutoCAD, developing material fabrication drawings and schedules, and working closely with architects, structural engineers and contractors. You will play a pivotal role in translating architectural intent into buildable technical solutions.

This role is suited to a technically minded Facade Designer with at least 5 years of industry experience and strong AutoCAD skills, looking to join a collaborative and growing team.

The Role:

• Create detailed facade design drawings from architectural concepts
• Produce fabrication drawings and material schedules
• Collaborate with clients, engineers and architects
• Site visits and meetings as required
• Monday-Friday, 40 hour week

The Person:

• 5 years' facade design experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Relevant degree (Facade Engineering, Architecture, Structural Engineering)
• Strong understanding of architectural and construction processes
• Experience in 3D modelling and Revit/BIM desirable
