Facade Designer

Facade Designer - UK RESIDENTS ONLY

Our client, who are a rapidly growing Facade contractor, are currently seeking an experienced facades designer to join their team in Hertfordshire.

Key Responsibilities

* Design & Detailing: Produce precise technical drawings, fabrication details, and elevations for rainscreen cladding, curtain walling, and specialised facade packages.

* Technical Solutions: Develop cost-effective, practical solutions for complex architectural interfaces and subframe systems.

* Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, structural engineers, architects, and site teams from early tender stages through construction delivery.

* Compliance & Standards: Ensure all designs align with health, safety, and industry regulatory requirements.

Requirements

* Minimum 5 years of professional experience in facade design or manufacturing.

* Strong proficiency in industry-standard computer-aided design software (such as AutoCAD or BIM tools).

* Sound knowledge of cladding types, modern building materials, and practical site assembly
