Facilities Engineer (Temporary Contract)

Location: Crewe

Contract Length: 12 Months

Working Pattern: Full Time, 35 hours per week Monday - Friday, 4 days onsite per week.

Adecco working in partnership, a leading organisation in the luxury automotive sector, is seeking a talented Facilities Engineer to join their dynamic Manufacturing Engineering (Production Planning) team. This exciting opportunity allows you to play a crucial role in sourcing and implementing production equipment and facilities for vehicle final assembly. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement production and final assembly facilities, equipment, and technologies, ensuring alignment with required timing and approved investment levels.
Utilise Practical Problem Solving and Control techniques to proactively deliver solutions, mitigate risks, and resolve issues.
Ensure compliance with all Legal Statutes, including the Health and Safety at Work Act and other relevant regulations.
Manage project budgets effectively, delivering all projects within agreed financial targets while tracking potential risks.
Generate deliverable milestones and monitor detailed project plans to ensure smooth execution.About the Person:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing engineering, particularly in vehicle assembly processes. Key qualifications include:

Proven experience with Final Assembly Production Facilities, including Automation Systems, Assembly Lines, Conveyors, Robots, and more.
A solid understanding of Health and Safety legislation relevant to the industry.
Excellent cross-functional communication skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
Strong Project Management and Planning skills, with proficiency in software such as MS Project for tracking and reporting.
A positive attitude towards change, ensuring Quality, Cost, and Delivery are maintained.
