In the role, you will be based on-site working Monday to Friday, 7:00am-4:30pm, with occasional overtime for essential maintenance. You'll be involved in maintaining, repairing, and improving a wide range of machinery including automated production lines, woodworking equipment, forklifts, and general property infrastructure. You'll tackle breakdowns, perform planned maintenance, and support the wider team in ensuring smooth operations.

This role would suit a Facilities Maintenance Engineer with a strong mechanical background and hands-on experience in machinery maintenance, looking for a varied role where you can make a real impact, receive excellent training, and grow within a supportive, employee-owned business that truly values and invests in its people.

The Role:

  • Maintain and repair production machinery, tools, forklifts, and vehicles
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, including property upkeep
  • Work within a small, supportive team in a growing employee-owned company

The Person:

  • Mechanical background with some electrical knowledge (or willingness to train)
  • Hands-on, practical, and confident working across a variety of machinery
  • Based in Wells or easily commutable to
