Facilities Management Supervisor (Transition to Management)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Management Supervisor to join our growing team. In this exciting role, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily building operations, while also developing your skills and knowledge to transition into a Facilities Management Manager position.

Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate a team of building service technicians, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and security.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned facilities, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and resolving tenant requests.
Develop and implement effective work schedules and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records on work performed, inventory, and budgets.
Liaise with vendors and contractors to coordinate service calls and repairs.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
Demonstrate strong leadership skills, providing coaching and development to your team.
Work closely with the Facilities Management Manager, learning the strategic aspects of facilities management.

Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Facilities Management Supervisor or similar role.
Proven track record of leading and motivating a team.
Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance procedures, and health and safety regulations (e.g., fire safety, HVAC).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and facilities management software (a plus).
