Facilities Maintenance Technician

We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the safe and efficient running of a leading manufacturing company based in Portsmouth. This is a hands-on role covering both planned and reactive maintenance.

Main Duties

* General building and facilities maintenance.

* Minor plumbing, carpentry, decorating and basic electrical work.

* Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues.

* Carry out routine inspections and identify faults or hazards.

* Support contractors and site works.

* Maintain clean, safe and functional facilities.

* Record maintenance activity using the CMMS system.

* Follow all Health & Safety, COSHH and environmental procedures.

Ideal Skills & Experience

* Previous experience in facilities or building maintenance or strong hands on skills with a relatable background.

* Practical skills across several maintenance disciplines.

* Good understanding of Health & Safety.

* Practical, proactive and able to work independently.

* Good problem-solving and communication skills.

* CMMS experience and relevant trade qualifications are advantageous.

Salary: £30K - £35K

Hours: 8.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday
