Facilities Manager – Technical Background

Location: Northampton
Salary: £51,500 – £55,000 + AP Payments + Private Healthcare

We're recruiting for an experienced Facilities Manager to lead engineering operations on a prestigious commercial site in Northampton.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Facilities Manager from a strong technical/building services background, looking for career progression, training and long-term development.

The Role

* Lead shift and day engineering teams.

* Ensure PPM and reactive maintenance is completed safely and on time.

* Manage subcontractors and specialist works.

* Complete compliance documentation and audits.

* Deliver toolbox talks and maintain safe systems of work.

* Support projects and develop through AP training.

What You'll Need

* Previous experience as a Facilities Manager, Engineering Supervisor, Shift Lead or similar.

* Strong technical background in building services maintenance – essential.

* Electrical and/or Mechanical qualifications.

* Experience with planned and reactive maintenance in commercial buildings.

* Full UK driving licence.

* AP qualification or experience desirable.
