We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team within a manufacturing environment on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role has a strong potential to become permanent based on performance and business needs. The ideal candidate will have a background in soft facilities management or industrial cleaning.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of facilities within the manufacturing site Manage and lead a team of soft service staff Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards Develop and implement cleaning schedules and routines Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers Manage budgets and control costs effectively Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks Handle any facilities-related issues promptly and efficiently Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience in facilities management within a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong background in soft facilities management or industrial cleaning Excellent organisational and time-management skills Strong leadership and team management abilities Proficiency in using facilities management software and tools Good communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
