Apply now for the position of Facilities Officer and you will be responsible for keeping buildings properly maintained, clean and safe. The role combines management tasks such as supervising contractors and more strategic responsibilities such as managing budgets and advising on long-term strategic business growth.
You will be responsible for overseeing all Facilities requirements and arrangements for Sudbury (UK). This will include responsibility for overseeing all Facilities requirements and arrangements, whilst ensuring the property is compliant to all legal and other requirements and regularly communicating with key stakeholders (Internal & External) to ensure this. You will also provide on-going training and development of team members in the department.
Your Role:
You will be overseeing the quality of monthly inspections and inspecting suppliers as required as per business needs and expectations.
You should provide expert advice on projects that may involve a change in the environment or infrastructure.
You will manage the invoicing, departmental budget and driving change.
You will monitor contract performance of key facilities suppliers and building effective and meaningful relationships with suppliers.
You will conduct the induction and onboarding of new contractors related to all Facilities works.
Ensuring all relevant contractor documents are updated and regularly checked/filed accordingly.
Achieving KPI associated to the Operations department and hit companywide KPIs where possible.
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis and building strong working relationships.
You will provide reports to Senior Management as requested and on an adhoc basis.
You will represent the business in customer audits and regulatory inspections to demonstrate that we have compliant.
Your Expertise:
You will ideally have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a facilities/operations role in a corporate company
You will require a minimum of 1 years' supervisory experience
You will need to demonstrate excellent time-planning and project management skills with experiencing managing or overseeing complex projects
You will require good industry knowledge of certificates (Gas Safe, NIC, FRA, 240V)
Be able to present and communicate to high a level
You will need to be able to work as part of a diverse and high-performing team
