The Role

As a Facilities Subcontract Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating subcontractor services related to welfare, personnel mobilisation, and waste management. Your daily activities will include overseeing subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and liaising with various project teams to meet project timelines. The role involves conducting pre-construction meetings, resolving scheduling conflicts, and maintaining detailed reports of site activities. You will also review contracts, scope of work, and safety documentation, and ensure adherence to all relevant legislation.

You will have the following qualifications & experience

Proven experience in managing subcontractors within a construction or facilities management environment.
Extensive knowledge of safety legislation including permits to work, CDM regulations, and COSHH.
Expertise in assessing and approving method statements and safety plans.
Familiarity with welfare facilities, personnel mobilisation, and waste disposal logistics.
Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate complex schedules.
