Role overview:
The Facility Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily operations and maintenance of site facilities, utilities, and infrastructure to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted support to manufacturing activities. The role coordinates maintenance personnel and contractors, monitors building and utility systems, and ensures compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
The role holder is also accountable for ensuring full ownership of all published safety requirements and reporting processes, ensuring these are diligently always followed.

Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety and Environment
Promote and ensure a strong safety culture within his activity.
Conduct routine safety inspections and risk assessments.
Ensure facilities compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.
Participate in emergency response and business continuity activities.
Facilities Operations
Supervise the day-to-day operation of industrial buildings and site infrastructure.
Ensure facility systems operate safely and reliably.
Monitor facility performance and quickly address operational issues.
Support production teams by maintaining a high level of facility service availability.
Utilities Management
Oversee operation of electrical distribution systems, HVAC, compressed air, water, wastewater, and fire protection systems.
Ensure utility services meet operational requirements.
Escalate critical equipment failures and coordinate recovery actions.
Monitor utility consumption and identify efficiency opportunities.
Maintenance Management
Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Coordinate maintenance shutdowns and interventions.
Review completed work orders and ensured quality standards are met.
Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS system or any other relevant systems.
Contractor Management
Manage and coordinate quotation process with service providers in accordance with internal rules.
Coordinate external contractors and service providers
Ensure contractor compliance with site safety rules and permit-to-work procedures.
Verify quality of work and contract compliance.
Support contractor performance reviews.
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve facility reliability and efficiency.
Support energy reduction and sustainability initiatives.
Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement programs.
Analyze recurring issues and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications /Education
Bachelor's Degree or Technical Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Maintenance, or related discipline.
Experience
3 to 8 years of experience in facilities, utilities, industrial maintenance, or manufacturing support functions.
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
Experience managing contractors and service providers.
