Aqumen Recruitment is recruiting Factory Labourers for a well-established international manufacturing business in Pocklington.

This is a hands-on, physically active role offering excellent temp-to-perm opportunities. Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not essential, as full training is provided.

Shift Options

Rotating Shift – £15.45 per hour PAYE

Week 1: Monday–Friday, 06:00–14:00
Week 2: Monday–Thursday, 13:45–23:45
No weekends

Fixed Day Shift – £13.43 per hour PAYE

Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:00
No weekends
All pay rates are paid PAYE.

The Role

A key part of the job involves manually lifting and emptying 25kg bags of raw ingredients into production vessels, so you must be comfortable carrying out regular physical work.

Other duties will include:

Basic machine operation
Carrying out quality checks
Preparing and handling production materials
Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
Following chemical, process and site safety procedures
Supporting different production areas when required

What We’re Looking For

You should:

Be comfortable regularly handling 25kg bags
Have a strong awareness of health and safety
Be reliable, punctual and willing to learn
Be able to work your chosen shift pattern
Work well as part of a team
Experience in manufacturing, production, warehousing, agriculture, construction or other physically demanding work is beneficial but not essential.
