A rare opportunity for a Factory Manager to join my client’s well-established organisation in South Kent. If you have previous experience working as a Production Manager or Factory Manager and are looking for a newand excitingrole, then this could be the role for you!

As a Factory Manager, you will be:

• Managing all aspects of production including the creation of production plans, organising the production schedule, and allocating workload.
• Working closely with the senior management team.
• Leading the production team and ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Looking at ways to increase productivity and reducing costs.
• Authorising annual leave , conducting disciplinaries, return to work, and other documentation.
• Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Organising routine maintenance and repairs on Factory equipment and plant machinery.
• Any other duties required.

The successful Factory Manager will have / be:

• Previous experience working within a Managerial role in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to work to lean manufacturing and 5S principles.
• The ability to bring new initiatives and ideas to contribute towards further company growth.
• Able to create effective production plans whilst being cost effective.
• The ability to lead a large team.
• A full UK driving licence.
