Factory Operative

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Factory Operative to join our client’s busy manufacturing facility based in Kirkby-in-Ashfield.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who has previous experience working in a factory, manufacturing, engineering, or similar environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with hand tools and carrying out physical tasks as part of the production process.

Key Responsibilities

* Rubbing down and preparing metal bars for production

* Using a variety of hand tools safely and effectively

* Carrying out general factory and production duties

* Preparing materials and components for the next stage of production

* Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment

* Following company health and safety procedures

* Working as part of a team to meet production targets

* Completing other general duties as required by the production team

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

* Previous experience in a factory, manufacturing, engineering, or similar environment

* Experience using hand tools

* Good attention to detail

* A reliable and hardworking attitude

* The ability to work effectively as part of a team

* Good awareness of health and safety

* A willingness to carry out physical and repetitive tasks

* A good work ethic and a positive attitude
