Factory Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Factory Operative to join a globally recognised international business with an established presence across multiple countries.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery and preparing products to customer specifications while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

* Loading and unloading production machinery

* Setting and operating machinery, including adjusting cutting blades, tension and brake settings

* Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process

* Making adjustments to machinery where required

* Unloading, cleaning and labelling finished products

* Completing production records using a computerised system

* Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment

* Using lifting equipment and reach trucks where required

* Supporting the wider production team with additional duties as required

What we are looking for:

* A strong work ethic and reliable approach to work

* The ability to work safely within a busy factory environment

* Good attention to detail and accuracy

* The ability to work independently as well as part of a team

* Good manual dexterity

* A willingness to learn new skills

* Good levels of English and numeracy

* Basic IT skills

* The ability to carry out manual handling duties safely

Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Forklift experience would also be advantageous.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, initally working a day shit with the potential of working on a shift pattern. Occasional Saturday overtime may be available depending on business requirements.
