Faculty Health & Safety Coordinator (3-Month FTC)
Salary: (£32,080 plus London Weighting of £5,476)
Location: Kent (with specific internal locations and flexibility as required)

We are seeking a dedicated Faculty Health & Safety Coordinator to support a prestigious University's commitment to a safe and healthy campus. You'll coordinate safety activities within the Faculty of Engineering and Science, advising on health and safety matters across multiple departments.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting faculty to maintain compliance with health and safety legislation and university policies.
Acting as local lead for accident reporting, investigation, and trend analysis.
Coordinating safety training and ensuring records are maintained accurately.
Assisting in conducting risk assessments, audits, and safety inspections.
Promoting a positive safety culture through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.The ideal candidate will have:

NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification, with a strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
Experience working within a scientific, industrial, or educational environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
