Falls Support Worker

Teqniq is searching for a Falls Support Worker to work in the public sector.

37 hours per week.

3 months contract.

09:00-17:00

Job Description:

The individual will work with care homes within Derby City and Derbyshire to ensure they have a comprehensive understanding of falls management, eg, falls prevention, falls risks, post falls assessment.

Train homes on how to use lilting cushions safely as part of a structured post fall assessment.

Review and adapt falls policy if appropriate.

Ensure homes know how to access local urgent clinical decision support.

Must have a car for work purposes with business use insurance for which mileage will be paid and an enhanced adults DBS.

You will be based at the Gatehouse in Derby City.
