Family Lawyer (Solicitor or FCILEx) – 2–5 Years PQE
Salary: £45,000+ DOE
Location: Leicester (Hybrid Working)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Lawyer (Solicitor or FCILEx) with 2–5 years PQE to join a supportive and well-regarded Family Law team based in Leicester. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work from home part of the week while maintaining strong collaboration with the team in the office.

The Role

You will handle a varied caseload of family matters, providing high-quality legal advice and representation to clients.

The role will involve:

• Managing a diverse family law caseload, including divorce, financial remedy, private children matters and cohabitation disputes
• Drafting legal documents such as petitions, applications, court orders and financial statements
• Attending client meetings, taking instructions and providing clear and practical advice
• Representing clients at court hearings where appropriate
• Supporting colleagues with complex cases and mentoring junior team members
• Engaging in business development, including networking and contributing to articles or legal updates

About You

• 2–5 years PQE as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive in family law
• Strong technical skills across a range of family matters
• Confident communicator with excellent client care skills
• Organised, proactive and commercially aware
• Comfortable with hybrid working and able to attend the Leicester office when required
