Family Lawyer

My client is looking for an experienced and motivated Family Lawyer / Family Fee Earner to join their established and highly regarded legal team in Sunderland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a family lawyer who is looking to develop their career within a supportive, well-managed firm, with genuine flexibility to shape their caseload and progress towards partnership or directorship.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload of privately funded family matters, providing high-quality legal advice and delivering an excellent level of client care.

The caseload may include:

• Divorce and separation
• Financial matters and financial settlements
• Private children matters
• Child arrangements
• Cohabitation and separation agreements
• Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
• Domestic abuse and associated family proceedings
• Matrimonial and family disputes
• Other privately funded family matters

There is also genuine scope to develop your caseload in areas of family law that particularly interest you, allowing you to build your own specialism and client base.

For the right individual, there is also the opportunity to progress towards partnership or directorship.
