Family Legal Assistant / Paralegal

Our client is a long-established high-street law firm, with over 150 years of history serving the local community. They are now seeking a dedicated Assistant / Paralegal to join their Family Law Department. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a close-knit practice where your contribution will be valued, and where you will provide vital support to their Family Law Solicitor.

The role will involve:

• Departmental administration
• Billing
• Drafting documents and correspondence
• Assisting with the preparation of bundles and court papers
• Client correspondence and communication

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent written and verbal English
• Strong organisational skills (filing, diary management, time recording, etc.)
• Basic numeracy for billing purposes
• The ability to communicate professionally yet empathetically with vulnerable clients
• Emotional maturity and discretion
• A collaborative approach and ability to follow instructions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

In return, our client offers:

• £23,000 per annum
