A well-regarded, full-service law firm with an excellent reputation across the Thames Valley and London is looking to recruit a Family Solicitor or Legal Executive (2+ years PQE) to join its friendly and collaborative Divorce & Family Law team in Reading.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a dedicated family lawyer to handle high-quality private family law work in a supportive team environment, with a clear path to career advancement and partnership.

The Role:

You will:

• Manage your own private law family caseload from start to finish
• Advise clients on divorce, separation, Children Act matters, financial settlements and cohabitation issues
• Handle a mix of complex and high-value cases with autonomy
• Work closely with colleagues across the team to deliver excellent client outcomes
• Be actively involved in business development and contributing to the growth of the department

? What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (CILEX) with 2+ years PQE
• Experience across divorce, financial remedy and private children matters
• Confident managing your own caseload independently
• Strong technical skills, excellent client care and attention to detail
• A collaborative team player who enjoys mentoring and supporting others
• Commercial awareness and a can-do attitude
• A desire to keep up with legal developments and best practices in family law
