Family Solicitor

A respected and expanding legal team is seeking an experienced Family Law Solicitor with 3+ years PQE or equivalent, to join their practice. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for advocacy and a desire to make a difference in both privately funded and Legal Aid cases.

The successful Family Solicitor will:

• Advise on all areas of family law, including divorce, children matters, financial disputes, and domestic abuse
• Represent clients in court, including final hearings and contested proceedings
• Handle a mixed caseload of Private and Legal Aid clients
• Ensure compliance with Legal Aid Agency (LAA) processes and maintain high standards of service
• Provide clear, accessible advice to clients, supporting them through challenging times

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years PQE in family law
• Strong advocacy experience
• Experience with Legal Aid funding and applications
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage sensitive matters

Legal Aid Family Supervisor status is a plus, and Panel membership or accreditation (e.g., Resolution, Law Society) is desirable, but not essential.
