Location: Oldham | 3–6 PQE | Competitive Salary | Full-time

Douglas Scott is working with a well-established, specialist law firm in Oldham that is looking to recruit an experienced Family Solicitor to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected high-street practice with a busy and expanding family department. You’ll take ownership of your own caseload of private family law matters and play an active role in the firm’s future growth.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing a caseload of private family law files, including:
• Divorce
• Financial matters
• Pre and post-nuptial agreements
• Private children law matters
Conducting your own advocacy where appropriate
Taking part in business development and networking initiatives to expand your client base and support team growth

The ideal candidate will have:

3–6 years’ PQE in family law
Experience managing a broad range of private family matters
Strong communication and client care skills
A proactive, team-focused attitude
Confidence in handling their own advocacy
