Family Solicitor

A well-regarded regional law firm based in Reading is looking for an experienced Family Solicitor to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Family Solicitor with at least 3 years' PQE to work on a varied caseload within a supportive and forward-thinking firm. The successful Family Solicitor will be part of a busy department handling privately funded family law matters and will benefit from strong mentoring and progression prospects.

This role would suit a Family Solicitor who is confident managing their own files independently and who enjoys regular client contact. The ideal Family Solicitor will be looking to take the next step in their career, joining a well-established firm with an excellent reputation across the Thames Valley area. You will work closely with a collaborative team and be given the opportunity to develop your specialism in areas such as divorce, financial settlements, cohabitation disputes and private children matters.

The Family Solicitor will handle a broad range of privately funded matters including divorce, financial remedy, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, cohabitation arrangements, separation agreements and child arrangements. You will have the chance to manage files from initial instruction through to conclusion with appropriate supervision where required.

Strong client relationship skills are key, as the firm prides itself on offering a personal and compassionate approach. As a Family Solicitor, you will also be involved in business development activities and contribute to the department's continued growth.

• A minimum of 3 years' PQE as a Family Solicitor in England & Wales.

• Solid experience in handling privately funded family law matters.

• Excellent communication and client care skills.

• Ability to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision.

• Member of Resolution or willingness to become a member is desirable.

• A proactive and professional approach with a genuine interest in family law.

• £50,000 - £65,000
