Family Solicitor

Are you a Newly Qualified Family Solicitor or Legal Executive with up to 3 years' PQE looking to develop your career within a supportive and established legal team?

We are working with a respected law firm based in Lincoln who are looking to recruit a Family Solicitor specialising in Care Proceedings and Private Children Law.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious solicitor to build on their existing experience, develop their specialist knowledge and play an important role in supporting clients through often challenging and often sensitive family matters.

To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:

Newly Qualified Solicitor through to 3 years PQE
Experienced in Family Law withing Care Proceedings and Private Children Matters
A good understanding of Children Act proceedings and relevant family law legislation
A compassionate and professional approach when dealing with sensitive and emotionally challenging situations.
A proactive approach, with a genuine commitment to developing your legal career.
Within this position, you’ll also be:

Managing a varied caseload of family law matters, with a focus on Care Proceedings and Private Children Law.
Handling private children disputes, including child arrangements and contact matters.
Supporting clients through proceedings involving children's welfare and safeguarding.
Preparing legal documentation, applications and court statements.
Providing clear, practical and empathetic legal advice throughout the process.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent standard of client service.
