Role: Family Solicitor 4PQE
Location: Upminster or Hornchurch

My client is currently seeking an experienced and empathetic Family Solicitor (minimum 4 years PQE) to join their reputable and forward-thinking firm. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled legal professional to play a key role in a growing Family Law department, working on a varied and stimulating caseload of private law divorce, financial remedy, and related matters.

The Role:
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload with minimal supervision, advising high-net-worth and mid-level clients on all aspects of:

Divorce and separation

Financial settlements (including complex assets and pensions)

Cohabitation disputes

Pre- and post-nuptial agreements

Private law children matters (optional, depending on experience)

You'll be expected to handle cases with sensitivity and discretion, offering practical, solution-focused advice to clients during often highly emotional periods of their lives.

What We're Looking For:
A qualified solicitor with at least 4 years PQE in Family Law

Demonstrable experience handling private law divorce and financial matters

A strong understanding of financial remedy proceedings, including complex and high-value cases

Exceptional client care and communication skills

Ability to manage cases independently and supervise junior staff if required

A proactive, commercially minded approach to business development
