Role: Economics Teacher

As an Economics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students in their study of economics. You will support students in developing a well-rounded understanding of economic theory, current affairs, and financial concepts. Your role will include:

As an Economics Teacher, you should be planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and meaningful Economics lessons to students of various age groups (KS4 and KS5).

• Encouraging students to apply economic analysis and critical thinking skills in various contexts.


• Collaborating with other members of staff to ensure the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Economics.


• Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment within the Economics department.


• As a qualified Economics Teacher, you will be expected to attend departmental meetings.

Key Qualities We Are Looking For:

• A strong passion for Economics and a desire to support students' economic understanding.


• A recognized teaching qualification in Economics, or equivalent.


• Experience in teaching Economics to secondary-aged students is highly desirable.


• A passion for developing young people academically and critically.


• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a stimulating and collaborative team.
