The Role

• 
  Departmental Leadership: Oversee the overall direction and development of the Music department.

  Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum that meets the needs of students of all abilities.

  Team Management: Lead and manage a team of dedicated music teachers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

  Student Development: Foster a love of music and encourage participation in musical activities, both within and outside of school.

  External Relations: Represent the Music department within the school and wider community, building partnerships and promoting the school's musical achievements.
